Jeremy Phang
Jeremy Phang (“JP”) read law at the University of Sheffield, England and graduated with an LLB (Hons). He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2001.
Jeremy has been actively involved in civil and commercial litigation with particular interest in tax and revenue law. He acts for and advises local and international companies on a range of matters including debt/loan recovery, winding up, foreclosure and banking litigation.
JP joined the Securities Commission (“SC”) as a Prosecuting Officer, prosecuting various securities offences, from both Criminal and Civil angles, such as deceptive or manipulative conducts in connection with the buying and selling of stocks, misleading disclosures to the SC and schemes to defraud/Ponzi schemes.
In addition to the above, Jeremy also handles joint divorce petitions and contested divorce proceedings for matrimonial cases.
Jeremy also assists families with their application for Letters of Administration & Probate, Wills and transmission of property and division of estate.
